To be able to you this app you need a phone with Android 4.4 (KitKat) or later and an infra-red lenovo transmitter.
Phones with IR Blaster lenovo include Samsung Galaxy S5, S4, S4 Active, S4 Mini, S4 Zoom, Note 3, Note 8.0, Note 10.1, Tab 7.0 Plus, Tab 2, Tab 3, Galaxy Mega, HTC One, Lenovo Medion Lifetab S7852 (there may be more models).
Note: vizio LG G2 is not supported since it use an own proprietary universal closed interface rather than standard Android interface.
Remote Control TV plus 2 is compatible only with LG Smart TVs which are released in 2012 or later. If you own a LG Smart TV released in 2011 or before, please use the “LG TV Remote 2011” application.
You can use LG TV Remote after pairing your TV and mobile devices through the same WiFi network.
The Mini TV feature might not be available for certain channels due to provision of contents under copy protection regulations.
